DESCRIPTION:You may have heard about the local toad patrols\, but did you
 know Hampshire &amp\; Isle of Wight has 12 out of 13 native amphibian and
 reptile species?\nJoin us for a talk by Pete West\, Hampshire &amp\; Isle
 of Wight Amphibian and Reptile Group (HIWARG) amphibian officer.\nFormed in
 2018\, HIWARG is a volunteer group focussing on recording\, researching\,
 and managing habitat for amphibians and reptiles as well as public
 engagement and volunteer training. Come along and learn more about
 HIWARG’s work\, with a focus on amphibians and toad patrols\, as we near
 the start of breeding season for frogs\, toads and newts.\nCost: £4 cash /
 £4.10 for contactless\nRefreshments at interval and a great chance to meet
 other local wildlife enthusiasts.
