SUMMARY:Online Talk - Photography for Chalk Stream Conservation
DESCRIPTION:From our friends at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife
Trust:\n\nPhotography is a powerful aid to the conservation of our precious
chalk streams. See some amazing images and hear the stories behind
them.\n\nFor those who visit them\, chalk streams leave a lasting
impression - even a brief streamside moment gives a sense of their unique
vibrancy. Some of their wonderful wildlife\, however\, is harder to
experience: many species are small\, rare\, nocturnal\, or hidden beneath
the surface. Luckily\, we can still learn about these animals\, through the
 power of photography.\n\nIn this talk\, we'll hear from award-winning
wildlife photographer Paul Colley. A Fellow of the Royal Photographic
Society\, Paul has worked with conservation agencies like Fauna and Flora
International\, the Blue Marine Foundation\, and the Bat Conservation
Trust. He has pioneered new river photography techniques\, and become a
leading infrared bat photographer.\n\nJoin us to see some of Paul's
brilliant photographs of chalk stream wildlife\, from fish and insects to
bats and waterfowl. Learn about the techniques he uses to capture these
amazing images\, and how they are being used to support the conservation of
our chalk streams.\n\nThis event is part of Watercress and Winterbournes\,
a Landscape Partnership Scheme that is protecting\, enhancing\, and
 celebrating seven local chalk streams.\n\nBook:
