Who are we?
Natural Basingstoke supports and represents the many local community nature conservation groups in the borough. Working alongside Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council we provide training, equipment, development skills and management resources to maximise the biodiversity value of our public green spaces.
We work alongside Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, local companies and other conservation bodies, to promote the protection, enjoyment and understanding of wildlife and the natural environment in our borough.

- Community – Our member groups are made up of local volunteers who deliver hands-on community-led conservation. More …
- Consultation – We work with the local authority and also build partnerships with other parties to protect and promote the biodiversity of our green spaces
