HBIC Recorder’s Forum

You are warmly invited to this year’s HBIC Recorders Forum, with a theme of ‘Nature Recovery’ on Saturday the 9th of March 2024 at Littleton Millennium Memorial Hall, SO22 6QL (just north of Winchester at SU 4572 3236.)
Register NOW from our webpage here, deadline Friday the 1st of March 2024.
The forum is free of charge and aims to give an overview of the variety of recording schemes and projects that take place in Hampshire. This year is slightly different; the morning session will feature presentations covering a variety of recording and conservation projects, whilst the afternoon is dedicated to a species recovery workshop. This will be looking at how we prioritise species for recovery as part of the emerging Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for Hampshire on behalf of Hampshire County Council who is leading on the Strategy Local Nature Recovery Strategy for Hampshire | Hampshire County Council (hants.gov.uk)
The programme for the day can be found on our website here. Our thanks in advance to those who are presenting on the day (if you are presenting, please can you also book.)
If you would like to bring a display, please indicate this when booking the morning session.
Coffee and Tea will be freely available throughout the day and a sandwich lunch will be provided for those staying for the day and those attending just the afternoon session. We have to cap the numbers so please book early. Once you have registered, we will send out a confirmation email in due course.
