Join Nik Knight from the Hampshire Bat Group for an illustrated talk on the fascinating lives of these elusive creatures.
Bats are remarkable but undervalued mammals. They are capable of catching flying insects in total darkness and living up to 25 years. This presentation will illustrate their fascinating lives and the issues they face in the modern world.
The Hampshire Bat Group is at the forefront of bat research and conservation in this county. Our speaker, Nik Knight, is a retired zoologist who devotes much of his time to the study and conservation of bats. He is both the Chairman of the Hampshire Bat Group and the Hampshire County Recorder for Bats.
Tickets can be booked via the link below or simply turn up on the night.
