Conservation, Toad Patrols and Engagement with HIWARG and Wilder Bramley
You may have heard about the local toad patrols, but did you know Hampshire & Isle of Wight has 12 out of 13 native amphibian and reptile species?
Join us for a talk by Pete West, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Amphibian and Reptile Group (HIWARG) amphibian officer.
Formed in 2018, HIWARG is a volunteer group focussing on recording, researching, and managing habitat for amphibians and reptiles as well as public engagement and volunteer training. Come along and learn more about HIWARG’s work, with a focus on amphibians and toad patrols, as we near the start of breeding season for frogs, toads and newts.
