We invite you to join us on Tuesday 21st May from 8pm-9.30pm for an insightful exploration into Nightingales, one of Surrey’s spectacular songbirds. Hosted by Dan Banks (bird expert and SWT Citizen Science Officer), this talk will cover:
• Characteristics and habitats: learn about the unique behaviours and favoured habitats of Nightingales, surely one of Surrey’s most charismatic and mysterious visitors
• Declining numbers: understand why Nightingale populations have reduced as these birds encounter the effects of habitat destruction and climate change at home and overseas
• Conservation solutions: discover how we can all help Nightingales thrive in Surrey once more
